I had the opportunity to tour four recording studios online, and want to share my experience with all of them. As the music industry continues to increase it is important for studios to stand out from the competition to bring in new clients.
Blue Jay Studio welcomes you to their website with a real unpleasant song choice in my opinion. and the tour is 3D animated which I felt to be a little strange for a website. On the other hand the photos that they present of the studio, show that the studio is really classy and nice.
Soho Recording Studio has a boring website that really doesn't stand out to me, but they have been in business for sixteen years and they have several clients.
Radio ready studio, I felt had a great online tour and was probably my favorite tour of the four. The tour was short and sweet, and it had a great music selection to go with the video, which made it more enjoyable to watch. It showed the location, gave a flat rate for studio time, contact information, and they are open 7 days a week. Another thing that sets them apart is that they host events to promote their clients.
Pachyderm studio has an extremely professional website. The virtual tour shows the location, guesthouse, studio, equipment and clients. the website displays samples of their recordings, and there is recent news about their recordings.
Over I think if I had to choose one studio I would choose Pachyderm Studio because of the outdoor feeling and the positive comment from the client made it seem like a great place to do business.

I was just as surprised as you by the music choice of Bluejay, pretty lame. It's interesting to hear that their virtual tour was animated.
ReplyDeleteThe video never loaded when I clicked on it so I didn't get to see.
